How to make a submission

We are always looking for new contributors, this publication was created to give readers like you a venue to display their work and garner some recognition. Here’s what you need to know:

• First, please read this article on making a successful submission.
• Please submit 3 – 5 sRGB format JPGs, at least 1000px on the long side.
• At least two to four paragraphs about your work, its significance to you, your inspirations. *
• A further two to four paragraphs about yourself as a photographer. This consists of any information you would like to share with us – what you shoot with, what you prefer to shoot, how you got started, first camera, etc. *
• Preference will be given to non-manipulated images. (excluding minor corrections)
• Files should not include borders, frames, or watermarks.
• Please don’t forget to include both a location (including country) and the year in which your work was produced!
• All submissions should be sent to submissions@photoshowcase.ca

*Your written content may be edited for clarity.
If your work is selected to take part you will be contacted via email with further details of publication. We will create a list of interview questions that will generally be featured as a second article.

Unfortunately, PSM cannot afford to offer any monetary compensation, or any guaranteed exposure, but, with a little luck, we can create an outlet from which our work can shine.
